On your Safari with Oryxhunt, you will be accommodated at the Ranch House on Ranch Valsdam, where there are 3 comfortable double rooms with en suite bathrooms.

Typical wholesome farm meals are served in the dining room of the main ranch house or, weather permitting, on the veranda. Our popular Namibian barbeques are served under the open stars and lend themselves to star gazing… |
The sumptuous daily fare includes a variety of game dishes such as a hearty roast, Oryxsteaks, Grill ala Valsdam and Springbok sirloin in puff pastry accompanied by an array of vegetables, such as “pampoen” (a traditionally prepared pumpkin) or sweet potatoes. This is perfectly complimented by a bottle of Namibia’s beloved and locally brewed beer or a bottle of wine from neighboring South Africa’s fairest Cape. |
For dessert fruit and or a Malva Pudding, these dishes are guaranteed to delight the palate!
For a day of rest, in addition to reading and hiking we recommend and gladly assist in organizing a shopping trip to Windhoek. |
